The Toyota Innova HyCross is a premium 3-row MPV built on Toyota's TNGA platform, available with a 2.0L petrol engine producing 172.9 HP and 204 Nm paired to a Direct Shift CVT, or with Toyota's 5th-generation self-charging Strong Hybrid Electric system that delivers a combined 183.7 HP through an e-CVT and a 168-cell Ni-MH battery. The Innova HyCross is offered in 7- and 8-seater layouts across seven grades — G-SLF, GX, GX(O), VX, VX(O), ZX and ZX(O) — with the ZX and ZX(O) exclusively powered by the Strong Hybrid powertrain.
